Welcome to Chi Alpha at St. Cloud State

Chi Alpha is a movement of Christ Followers here at SCSU. We invite you to join the family and experience GOD on the campus. We meet on campus, in all sorts of settings and sizes. These gatherings are informal, charged with music, given to humor and deal with everything from relationships to the nature of truth.

This year our vision is to live to see God's kingdom alive in us and our campus

We are movement of Christ Followers at St. Cloud State

We meet on campus, in all sorts of settings and sizes. These gatherings are informal, charged with music, given to humor and deal with everything from relationships to the nature of truth.

We experience the supernatural. We work hard to learn from and join with international students. We see that faith and thinking are related.

Our name comes from the Bible in 2 Corinthians 5:16-20 which says,

So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.

What does Chi Alpha believe? We have 3 primary beliefs central to our thinking:

The Bible is God's word.
God is active among us by supernatural gifts.
God wants people to be reconciled to Him.

So this means we are God's ambassadors-"Christ's sent ones", or using Greek letters Chi (x) and Alpha (a)

We represent Christ to the campus declaring the message, come meet with God "come befriend God." This is our mission. We are here to help, encourage and equip Christ followers to engage the campus with the message of coming "face to face" with God

Every Thursday Night @ 7:30pm:
Join us @ THE GATHERING in the Brickyard of Atwood for a large community of Christian students at SCSU who gather together to meet with God and hear from Him in reaching our campus.

Cell Groups:
Not the microscopic, biological kind, but the peer bonding, spiritual growth kind. I'm talking CELL GROUPS -- which are kind of like SMALL GROUPS only they are meant to always to open to new people joining in and for them to continue to GROW and eventually DIVIDE into NEW CELLS. Cells are a great way to get to know people in more than just a "hi, how are you?" kind of way, but to be able to know each other in such a way as to walk through college life together. And as we walk through college life together, CELLS are also meant for us to walk through college life together with JESUS. So now is the time to jump into something that is new, alive, and an investment into your spirit here at SCSU. Here are your options:

Wednesdays @ 9PM:

God in Art(girls and guys) -- meets at ATWOOD in the Oak Room. Lead by Erica
